The Olana : An Incredible Wedding Venue
The Olana Wedding Venue styled shoot that I attended last week was unbelievable. Styled Shoots Across America were the ones hosting this styled shoot and they did an incredible job. This styled shoot is definitely what wedding dreams are made of. The Olana Wedding Venue alone is already breathtaking. You add tons of gorgeous florals and exquisite table settings and it is perfect for any wedding. I will be breaking this styled shoot down into a six part mini-series to highlight each of the shoot I was able to photograph.
Styled Shoots Across America : An Awesome Experience
This styled shoot was the first that I’ve attended that was hosted by Styled Shoots Across America. The entire vendor team did such a fantastic job. Each different shoot had a theme and all pieces of the shoot blended beautifully together. I love that each shoot was a little different from the next. It gave me a different feel when I was photographing each setup. It was so much fun being able to get creative.
Another thing that I absolutely loved about this styled shoot was the opportunity to meet many of my industry peers. In the wedding photography business, it can get lonely at times because you work the majority of the time by yourself. It was very refreshing meeting new faces and connecting with other wedding photographers from all around the country. I had such a great time with the photographers in my group. I am definitely looking forward to attending more of these styled shoots hosted by SSAA.
First of the Mini-Series : The Pastel Shoot
The front lawn is one of the option for an outdoor wedding at the Olana. When you have a building that is simply stunning, it is hard not to incorporate that architecture into your wedding day. Wooden chairs adorned the lawn for this setup. Gorgeous pastel colored floral arrangements lined the aisle sporatically. The center of the aisle featured a full circle arch with beautiful pastel florals as well. This is the first shoot as part of my six part mini series for this styled shoot.
