Adriatica Village has fast become one of my favorite places in the Dallas area to shoot engagement sessions. This area has apartments, shops and restaurants and was modeled after a Croatian fishing village. The star of it all is the beautiful Bella Donna Chapel. The first time that I came here was for one of my friend’s wedding a few years ago and I remember thinking how I loved the European vibe of the chapel and it’s surrounding areas and would love to photograph one of my couples here. Ever since then, I have suggested Adriatica Village for an engagement session to many of my couples.
This past weekend I got to photograph Nicole and Garrett’s engagement at this location. Nicole is my best friend’s niece and I have known her since she was a little girl. I was more than happy to be able to shoot her engagement session for her. We shot this session in the afternoon right around sunset. I love sunset engagement session! We were able to hit up all of my favorite spots. The session was a lot of fun. These two are adorable together and I am so excited for them and their new journey together.
